Endodontic Clinic
Saving a natural tooth is always superior to replacing it. The canal is cleaned, shaped and sealed under the microscope — and instruments broken inside a canal are retrieved there too.
Root canal treatment has a reputation it no longer deserves. Under magnification and with proper anaesthesia it is a long appointment rather than a painful one, and it ends the pain that brought you in.
The work is finding every canal, cleaning all of it, and sealing it so nothing can grow back. Canals branch, curve and calcify with age; the ones that standard methods miss are the ones a treatment fails on. High magnification and ultrasonic irrigation are how they are found.
We also retrieve instruments broken inside a canal. A separated file is the reason many teeth are extracted elsewhere; under the microscope it is usually a tooth that can still be kept.
