Dental treatment in Baghdad, planned from abroad

If you live abroad and are planning a visit to Iraq, AYAD Dental Care can help you organise your dental treatment before you arrive in Baghdad.

Patients with a limited stay can share their dental records, X-rays, scans, photographs and their main concerns in advance. That lets the team understand the case and prepare for the clinical examination that follows once you arrive.

The aim is a treatment journey that is clear, well planned and efficient — particularly for patients travelling from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the rest of Europe, and other countries.

None of it replaces the appointment itself. A definitive diagnosis and treatment plan are established after the clinical examination and whatever investigations it calls for. What happens before you travel is preparation — and preparation is what makes a short stay work.

01 What patients travel for

Treatment planned before arrival

Dr. Ayad Mouayad Al-Obaidi, founder of AYAD Dental Care, works in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Every case is assessed individually: what is recommended follows from the clinical findings, from function and from what will last, rather than from one approach applied to everyone.

02 After the examination

What is settled in person

The final treatment decision is made after an in-person examination. Remote communication cannot replace it, and nothing sent in advance is a definitive diagnosis or a final treatment plan.

The objective is not simply to improve appearance. It is a plan that holds up against function, health, aesthetics and the maintenance the result will need for years after you have flown home.

Assessed in the chair

What an aesthetic case is planned against:

  • Tooth structure
  • The bite
  • Existing restorations
  • Periodontal health
  • Colour and proportion
  • What you want from the result

03 Planning treatment from abroad

What to send before you travel

01

What concerns you

A brief description of the problem and of the treatment you are looking for.

02

Recent imaging

Dental X-rays or scans, when you have them.

03

Photographs

Clear photographs of your teeth and your smile, where we ask for them.

04

Previous treatment

Relevant details of dental work already done.

05

Your dates

Your expected arrival date, and how long you are staying in Iraq.

The clinic can then tell you what further information or investigations may be useful before your first appointment. Remote communication cannot replace an in-person dental examination, and does not constitute a definitive diagnosis or a final treatment plan.

04 Preparing for your visit

Limited time in Baghdad?

Tell us your travel dates when you contact the clinic. Some treatments can be completed within a relatively short period; others — implant, multidisciplinary or complex rehabilitation cases — may run over several stages or need a second visit. How long a case takes can only be estimated once it has been properly assessed.

If you are travelling to Baghdad and considering veneers, dental implants, restorative treatment or full-mouth rehabilitation, write to the centre before your trip and send what you already have. It is what turns the first appointment from an introduction into a working one.
